Tribute to Japan Self Defense Forces ー日本の自衛隊に捧げますー (Japanese)
3 月に起こった東日本大震災そして直後のトモダチ作戦をきっかけに、米軍ではこれらの災害救援活動や 人道支援活動を主導した日本の自衛隊へ捧げるビデオを製作しました。このビデオには自衛隊員が勇ま しく奮闘する姿、そして彼らから日本の皆さんへあてた励ましのメッセーが収められています。私たち 米軍では、彼らのメッセージがより多くの日本の皆さんそして世界の人々に届くことを願っています。 最後に、被災した方々の救助そして被災地復興へ向けた活動の一員となれたことをとても光栄に思います。
In the wake of the Great East Japan Earthquake and following Operation Tomodachi, U.S. Forces Japan have created a tribute video to the Japan Self Defense Forces who led disaster relief and humanitarian assistance operations. This video captures the heroic efforts of JSDF and their encouraging messages to the people of Japan. We hope that these messages reach as many people in Japan and in the world. It was a privilege and honor to have been a part of this endeavor.
